About Simon Slater

The best sort of infrastructure and systems are the ones you don’t notice and my teams do just that – make systems work, all the time. IT has become pivotal for all businesses and Exertis is no different but the IT landscape is changing radically and rapidly with the evolution of IT dependency, technology enablement of the entire customer journey through experience and supply chain – the pace of change has accelerated. I see my role as finding ways to do things better, evolve our team, our thinking, processes, infrastructure and platforms to drive positive change, results, and bottom line. A key strength of mine is the ability to stand back, to take a view at different levels, consider all the perspectives and stakeholders. Too often people try to take small steps and iterate when what it really needs is some successful transformation and business change.
