About Simon Speight

Without communications people’s lives are at risk. I’ve spent over 38 years in the telecommunications industry putting users of communication services first, followed by helping the employees who support those users to get these services. This has been through improving processes, designing new solutions, enhancing systems, correcting and improving behaviour. Basically fixing problems. Throughout this time I’ve learned to listen, watch, feel, and to never rest on your laurels! There’s always a better way. I’ve had to adapt, evolve, cope with constant change, face endless hurdles and challenges along the way. By remaining focused on customers and those who interact with customers, the rest will take care of itself and I know deep down I’m doing the right thing each and every day. This is where I get my motivation, my appetite, my energy, my tenacity and determination to deliver the best I can. This is what has got me out of bed over times so far. That’s a lot of experience on offer!
