I am a Chartered Engineer and Programme Manager with two decades’ strategic and operational experience planning, leading and delivering business process change, technology transformation, software development and R&D engineering projects across media agency, transport, rail, renewable energy and aerospace sectors. I hold Scrum Master, Agile PM practitioner and PRINCE2 and ITIL V3 foundation certifications. I engage effectively with C-suite, Directors, process owners, stakeholders and end users to capture and translate requirements into commercially viable and realistic plans, functional specifications and project scope. I focus on best practices to drive excellence in approach that ensure optimal achievement of outcomes. I have led high-level and high-profile full lifecycle programmes and managed associated on and offshore resources to meet £MM concurrent project requirements. I have repeatedly delivered projects 100% to remit, budget and deadline and have consistently beat expectations on realised benefits. One of my strengths is my ability to quickly understand the big picture and assess programme complexity. I zero in on critical details, interdependencies, obstacles and issues, bring clarity, and then systematically mitigate risks and resolve problems to assure delivery of fit-for-purpose solutions. I have created programme strategy, devised roadmaps, and deployed structured oversight, governance, reporting, controls and performance frameworks as well as risk, stakeholder, communications and resource management planning, to consistently fulfil programme scope and enable on-time and on-budget delivery.
