About Simon Strez

Architecture is in my veins. I was never forced into a life of crisp lines, sharp angles, and exquisite forms. I just had an eye for design from a very young age. Having left the shores of New Zealand in 2009 to explore the world I was given what I now consider to be my architectural bible: The Phaidon Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture travel edition. Since then that book has guided me through over forty countries on the hunt for modern architecture while still fitting in the historical monuments that have been the foundation of my chosen profession. I was fortunate enough to finance these travels through my other passion in life: Sailing. I would work on superyachts over the summer in the Mediterranean or the Pacific Ocean. Though sailing has helped me to explore the world and find remote architectural wonders, it was never a long term career goal. Hence I have complimented my Diploma in architecture from New Zealand with a Masters Degree at the base of the Iconic Bauhaus in Germany. I consider myself an Ideas man with a passion for CAD, BIM, tech automation, virtual reality, and the ocean.
