About Simon Tamura

Nice to meet you, I'm Simon! I specialize in video editing, and am comfortable in a variety of NLEs including Adobe Premiere Pro, AVID Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut X. I'm a filmmaker and tech nerd at heart, but my specialty is post-production and editing. I believe strongly in thorough project organization, workflow planning, and file management. I'm well aware of the critical role that each of these plays in bringing any project through the finish line. Post-production is an essential part of the process for any video project, and I aim to give projects the proper treatment they deserve through quality edits, sound design, color treatment, and overall impression. I am primarily experienced in marketing and public relations work. I'm comfortable with quick turn-around video projects and working for long periods in an office setting.
