Regarded for designing, creating, maintaining and managing sustainable, public and private open space projects. An extensive tertiary education and over 30 years of experience in Horticulture, Botanical Design, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Construction, Commercial Horticultural Management and Public and Private Art Projects. Responsible for leading landscape teams and overseeing the integration of landscape design into urban planning projects, strategic and ecological planning for national parks, and thought leadership for innovative new cultural, residential and tourism projects. Involved in collaborating with architects, engineers, scientists and clients to create sustainable and innovative outdoor spaces. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources whilst ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. An in-depth understanding of user experience design, land management practices, climate change adaptation, water conservation, botanical diversity, and plant propagation. Proven success in designing large scale revegetation projects with a focus on rare and endangered species, within culturally significant parameters, that enhance biodiversity and ecological preservation. Experience in training and education has been gained from managing teams of landscape architects, landscapers, gardeners, volunteers and running landscape projects for government, private and public clients.
