Background

About Simon Wohletz

I am an operations-focused manufacturing leader with a strong engineering background, responsible for productivity, delivery performance, and capital efficiency across complex, multi-site production networks. My career has been shaped by leading manufacturing engineering and operations in high-pressure industrial environments, translating technology, processes, and investments into stable output, competitive cost structures, and reliable customer supply. While my roles include regional and multi-site leadership responsibilities, I have repeatedly taken hands-on operational ownership in critical phases such as ramp-ups, high-load situations, and transformation programs. This includes direct involvement at shopfloor level as well as network-wide capacity, material, and logistics coordination to secure delivery performance.I combine structured leadership in matrix and international organizations with a strong bias for execution. I am particularly interested in roles where manufacturing engineering and operations directly influence business results, whether in senior manufacturing leadership, industrialization, or production-focused executive roles.
