About Simona Bechini

I joined Aon in 2011 and I am involved both on compliance and legal matters. My main activities for compliance are: to ensure that employees are complying with governmental regulations and laws, to identify compliance issues that require follow up or investigation, to manage Anti-corruption program, Anti-Money Laundering rules, Trade Restriction and Third Parties procedures. I assist internal or external auditors in compliance reviews, monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness. Researches, implements and manages the areas of insurance and reinsurance regulations and laws. Besides my further duties are to draft written policies and procedures related to compliance activities, file appropriate compliance reports with the corporate compliance. Previous experience: I have been Legal Affairs and Tender Office Manager at Passavant Impianti S.p.A. and Acciona Agua S.A, for about four years of experience in the environmental field.* I have been an Attorney since 2004. My experience includes works at Law Firm specialized in corporate and criminal law.* Acciona Agua S.A. and Passavant Impianti S.p.A. are both Engineering Companies acting in the environmental services mainly in the construction and maintenance of water treatment plants.* In my previous experience I was involved in these areas: Tender Office, Litigation Management, Contracts drafting and negotiation, Legal assessment concerning workplace security and all aspects of commercial, corporate, and environmental business, Settlements out of Court through plea bargaining.* Work with/and outside supervisors and corporate paralegal * Assistance in corporate governance matters, including drawing for board and committee meetings and overseeing the maintenance of records and minute books for the company and its subsidiaries * Monitoring of compliance with security laws and reporting/disclosure requirements *Drawing, review and negotiation of different commercial contracts.*Contract Due Diligence * Support Top managers in taking the better decisions
