About Simona di Dio
I am a Human Rights Advocate and an Italian qualified lawyer with 10 years of experience in managing social inclusion, and civil society empowerment projects. I want to use my legal skills to uniquely contribute to the fight against social injustice. My legal fields of interest are human rights and migration law, which I was able to deepen through lots of experiences in different countries, such as Greece, Spain, France, Belgium and Italy. My specialisation also includes promoting capacity building for formal and non-formal education systems in cooperation with a wide range of stakeholders (Universities, policymakers, NGOs, citizens, etc.) in Europe. I strongly believe in education and training as an instrument of change, to encourage equality and human dignity, and to help people to understand their attitudes and behaviour too.
