Hi, I’m Simona: curious about technology, the universe, and why people behave the way they do at work. Since co-founding Zitec in 2003, I’ve been at the intersection of systems, engineering, leadership, and human behavior, always testing and rebuilding the rituals that shape how teams actually perform. The thread running through everything I do is simple: performance and humanity are not opposites. The best organizations are the ones where people feel safe, seen, trusted, and clear on what matters. Today, I work across two connected roles. I’m Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Zitec, a 340+ person technology company headquartered in Bucharest, serving clients in 30+ countries. Over 20+ years, we’ve built Zitec into a company shaped by trust, learning, operational discipline, and long-term partnerships. Zitec is now a recognized leader in digital transformation, software engineering, and digital marketing. I’m also Founder & CEO of Mirro.io, one of Zitec’s flagship products, where two decades of lessons about scaling teams, culture, and performance became technology other companies can use. Mirro connects goals, performance management, OKRs, feedback, recognition, culture, and people insights into one clear system, built for leaders who care what their numbers actually mean. I’m most interested in the invisible systems of work: how trust travels, how decisions are made, how alignment breaks, how culture scales, and how informal networks shape execution beyond the org chart. Lately, that curiosity has expanded toward the organizational impact of AI: how it helps us work faster, but also how it forces us to rethink roles, structures, decision-making, and what companies are actually for. I write and speak about organizational culture, people-first performance, leadership in uncertainty, AI transformation, and building healthy companies from the inside out.
