About Simone Basse

I have completed the Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Auditing in 2017. Since August 2017 I have been a part of Group Internal Audit and Risk team at ISS Wold Services A/S. In my role I´m responsible of conducting and leading internal, compliance and project audits on a global level together with the responsibility of following up and helping local markets to completing open audit recommendations. I have gain extensive experience within risk related to the Procurement and supply chain assurance processes as consulting partner of developing internal policies and developing supplier assurance program. From June 2011 I was part of Deloitte’s auditing team conducting audits of development funding programs. In addition, I Conducted experience with internal audit and anti-corruption compliance reviews, with a focus on the pharmaceutical sector. In the period of October 2016 - July 2017 I was stationed at Deloitte Brussels conducting audits on behalf of the EU commission for the Service of Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI). I have experience working with public and private national clients and private international clients. Prior to joining Deloitte I was an accountant by profession and has worked with external auditing for over two years before joining Deloitte. I has experience with generally accepted financial management systems from several reviews, audits and consultancy assignments.
