About Simone Berardinelli

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Public Administration concentrated in Public Policy and Leadership from Indian River State College (IRSC) based in Fort Pierce, Florida. I hold nine years of library experience from working at IRSC’s Main Campus Library in Fort Pierce during the last few years of my studies; completing a three-month-internship with the Blake Library in Stuart, Florida after finishing my bachelor’s degree; working at Renaissance Charter School of St. Lucie (RCSSL) in Port St. Lucie, Florida as the school’s library aide from October 2021-October 2023; and securing a Library Associate II position for the Palm Beach County Library System a month after leaving RCSSL. I someday plan to further my education studying for my Master’s in Library Science to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a librarian in a public library. I chose this career path because I have loved visiting the library and reading various books by various authors since I was young. My favorite genres are Fantasy, Romance, and Graphic Novels. When I am not working, I like to spend time with friends and family both in and out of state, play with my dogs, watch movies (Disney, Hallmark, Marvel/DC, and Anime), and attend Catholic Mass.Philosophy of EducationI believe that education is important and available for all individuals. Everybody has different strengths and interests that they can apply to every area in their lives, and they should have the appropriate mentors (parents, teachers, friends, colleagues, etc.) help them achieve their lifelong dreams.
