About Simone Buck

As a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I contribute to the advancement of cancer research and care by supporting the EMBRACE program for patients with metastatic breast cancer. I screen patients for multiple clinical trials, coordinate the allocation of research specimens to various competing trials, facilitate liquid biopsies, and ensure my team is up to date on trial eligibility. I collaborate with researchers, clinicians, patients, and sponsors to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative and impactful studies. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Boston University, where I gained a solid foundation in public health. I also developed skills in conflict resolution, communication, and leadership, which I apply in my current role as a Senior member of a team of coordinators. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer and to contribute to the advancement of science and medicine.
