About Simone Coletta

Senior Frontend Developer with over a decade of experience specializing in complex, large-scale web application development. My core expertise lies in Angular, having worked extensively with every version of the framework to build sophisticated, high-performance user interfaces for SaaS platforms handling hundreds of thousands of users. In my current role, I transitioned from developing features for a large-scale LMS to joining the core team responsible for the internal UI Kit and shared libraries. Here, I design and build complex Angular components from scratch (e.g, data tables, calendars, media players), often blending framework capabilities with native APIs. My dedication extends beyond feature implementation; I focus heavily on optimizing the development lifecycle, improving DX, and writing clean, maintainable code.I believe in taking full ownership of the end-to-end development process. This approach means I consistently contribute to architectural and infrastructure decisions beyond my core development focus. My hands-on experience includes designing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), managing monorepos (NX), creating custom release scripts, and deploying applications on AWS (SSG/SSR) in containerized environments. I leverage this expertise to provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring we build robust solutions.I am highly curious about emerging technologies, using tools like AI code assistants daily to boost productivity. I thrive in environments that demand technical depth and offer opportunities to solve challenging problems and continuously grow.
