Hi, thanks for reading my profile! I have completed specialised training in meteorology and climate services to doctorate level and I received my PhD in 2020, from University of Torino (Italy). Beforehand, I graduated in Natural Sciences and I obtained a Master’s degree (MSc.) in "Analysis and Management of the Environment" I have focused my professional career on being a researcher within the field of Agricultural Meteorology and I have dedicated my time to specialising in agrometeorological modelling using climatic aspects to predict phenological response and eco-physiological conditions about some of most important agricultural products of the Piedmont Region, such as grapevine and hazelnut. I have a range of technical skills, e.g. in remote sensing, geo-statistics, and software programmes such as R-Project and QGIS. I have extensive work experience in my native country of Italy, and have also worked in diverse, international contexts, e.g. Ireland, Spain, Chile, France, and Canada, which has helped me develop transferable skills, such as team-work, communication, decision-making, and adaptability, as well as my competence in English, Spanish, and French. I am interested in ecology, wildlife and environmental conservation, climate change impacts, adaptation and mitigation.
