About Simone Gannon

Simone is Executive Assistant at Fairfax Multi Academy Trust (FMAT). Demonstrating a philosophy to always lead by example and an aim to exceed the expectations of those around her, Simone applies her exceptional communication skills to build on an existing reputation for forging long term, loyal business relations with clients and colleagues alike. With over twenty years’ experience of working in fast paced, diverse environments, she has also developed a first class ability to multi-task and in turn organise her workloads in order to meet multiple deadlines. Simone’s role as Executive Assistant at Fairfax Multi Academy Trust initially began as a PA role in June 2014. The role has offered her a fresh challenge to learn about the Education Sector, whilst implementing the skills she has acquired and developed over the years to manage areas such as Governance, coordination of Trust-wide Polices and Procedures, Website updates etc. She also supports the CEO in day to day activities, and acts as a central point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders. Previously, Simone was Co-Founder and Consultant to Poppy Red Photography and Events, as well as spending a large proportion of her career managing local and national clients/events in her role as Senior Catering Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Birmingham. Aside from the "day job", Simone has taken her personal interests to the next level and qualified in 2019 as a Pilates (level 3) Instructor and a Freestyle Fitness Yoga Instructor and operates as a Freelance Instructor at several studios in the West Midlands. Simone is always looking for opportunities to grow through personal development and industry training.
