About Simone Guercini
I was educated at the University of Florence (Laurea), Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa (PhD) and University of Sussex (TAGS). From 2005 I'm chair professor of marketing and management at the University of Florence. I was visiting professor at the Stockholm Business School, the Manchester Metropolitan University, and recently at the Grenoble Graduate School of Business. I was visiting researcher at Max Planck Institute for Human Development (ABC Group) in Berlin and I'm research associate at the CIBER Centre, Robinson College, at the Georgia State University. My research interests are on the nexus between entrepreneurial actor's behaviour/cognition and market contexts, especially in business markets and international/cross cultural settings. My research experience was mainly, but not exclusively, on textile and fashion businesses and markets, and more recently on marketing in phamaceutical firms.
