About Simone Gupta

I co-founded creative studio Supermassive, with Laura and Jon, because we share a belief that we can help brands make a disproportionate impact. We do this through the principles of robust strategy, distinct brand identity and ideas that engage and entertain. Following 20 years leading world-class network PR and social agencies in Sydney, London and Los Angeles, I heard clients call out to agencies for help - louder than ever - with the huge challenges they face - and it was clear to me that to answer these challenges it needs experienced solution seeking people on the work. We designed the Supermassive model to build a bench of fixed and flexible people with category and discipline expertise around a client's business challenge. This year I am most proud of leading the communications and government engagement strategy for social change initiative 36 Months, pioneered by Michael 'Wippa' Wiplfi and Rob Galluzzo, founder of FINCH. Supermassive has been recognised as Mumbrella’s Emerging Agency of the Year 2024. Previously I led One Green Bean to Agency of the Year 2022. I have also had the good fortune to be recognised as B&T’s PR Leader of The Year 2021. I am a member of the founding committee of Global Women in PR Australian chapter, and previously I was the founding Chairman of UK Charity One Woman at a Time. One of my passions over the years has been leadership coaching C-suite and mentoring young women.
