I ventured into adulting with the intention of becoming an attorney. After my first year of law school, I knew that writing briefs and researching case law would never be my thing. I woke up one morning, still in law school because my Jamaican parents weren't going to let me quit, and decided that I was going into marketing. Enter the JD/MBA!(.because, who voluntarily signs up for more school?) Since then, I've been obsessed with learning about consumer behavior, and creating amazing marketing campaigns and experiences to help build big brand equity. I started my career in tobacco, did a stint in tech, sold pants and now I proudly work at an institution committed to STEM accessibility for our community. I geek out over brands.
