About Simone Johnson

Simone has spent her career bringing together diverse teams to work on big-picture initiatives for social impact and technical projects that challenge the status quo. A graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Simone excels at operationalizing and scaling systems and teams for collaboration, efficiency and impact. Simone has devoted over 7 years of her career to supporting the operational and fiscal infrastructure of grassroots organizations in addition to leading teams developing campaigns throught the lens of social impact and narrative change. Prior to working in operations and non-profits, Simone worked as a digital marketer and project manager for startups and Fortune 500s in software consulting and telecommunications. Simone currently works at Future Coalition as the Director of Operations and Chief of Staff supporting the people operations, budgetary, HR, tech and culture components of the organization. She’s also a Partner at LeadOut, a marketing consultancy that specializes in transforming business strategy, lead generation and brand efforts. In her spare time she trains Muay Thai and creates art. Simone is based in Los Angeles.
