About Simone Jore

Languages ​​reflect culture, mindset and social structure - therefore, it will never be superfluous to learn and internalize them, no matter how well machines help us to exchange information quickly on a superficial level. Lifelong learning is crucial for our personal and professional development, today more than ever in this rapidly changing world. I hope to build bridges, explore new horizons and change perspectives with my work. My field of work, educational cooperation, is very diverse and therefore not easy to explain: The focus of the activities is on teachers who teach German outside the German-speaking area. The quality of the teaching plays a key role in anchoring the German language in the educational systems of the host countries. The Goethe Institutes abroad work with local partners to ensure high quality standards in the teaching and learning of German as a foreign language. With the help of local multipliers, the knowledge is anchored and disseminated in the network. We motivate students to start learning German early through events such as competitions and exhibitions. Programs tailored to specific country needs prepare young people for training, study and employment in Germany. By incorporating current formats, our partners stay close to innovations and up to date with the latest knowledge.
