Simone Motiwalla is the Engagement Advisor at CBC/Radio-Canada’s Technology & Infrastructure department. This Bilingual role leverages Simone’s strengths in Program Development, Communications, Strategy, Facilitation and Stakeholder Relations. Simone is passionate about creating a sense of belonging at work and creating experiences that are inclusive, dynamic and thought provoking. Simone has a creative background and has worked both agency-side as well as in-house in marketing, design and communications. Before working at CBC/Radio-Canada, she managed the graphic design studio and held a senior communications role at Toronto Pearson International Airport. All Simone’s professional roles are rooted in creativity, collaboration and curiosity. With experience in commercial and residential real estate, aviation, and now the news and media industry; Simone chooses roles where she believes in the mission of the organization. Simone has an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University in New Orleans, with concentrations in Political Science and French Literature, and an Honours Diploma in Advertising & Graphic Design from Humber College in Toronto. Born in Mumbai, India, Simone moved several times before immigrating to Canada and living in Toronto. She has lived in Bahrain, Paris, New York and New Orleans. Simone speaks English and French.
