About Simone Pepe

Professional Educator, committed-both personally and professionally-to sustainability and climate justice. Open to confrontation and questioning, to actively deconstruct toxic dynamics internalized simply because I was born and raised within a capitalist and patriarchal system. I highly value and try to apply facilitation processes, participatory democracy and nonviolent communication methods, making sure that the division of roles, assignments and tasks to be performed is not centered on a few people but as spread out as much as possible. Among many things, I am among the founders of Brescia Attiva (link in bio for more) I have left a cooperative I loved and a permanent position because I have become increasingly concerned about the direction states are taking on their commitments to reduce emissions and, therefore, counter the climate crisis. I give myself the gift of one or maybe two years of experience abroad in the form of volunteer work to broaden my horizons, learn new languages so that I can talk to more people and expand my network of international contacts. At the end of this period I will devote my energies to be an actor of change with regard to countering the climate crisis. For the time being still searching for the best form to pursue this goal.
