About Simone Power

I’ve always been drawn to people—what lights them up, what makes them feel safe, and how to create environments where they can truly thrive. Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked across a wide range of industries—from hospitality, retail, and childcare to coworking, real estate, and now tech. Every chapter has given me a deeper understanding of how to support, connect, and lead with empathy. Today, I wear a few hats at Lucid. I'm the Executive Assistant to the Senior Director of APAC, the Office Manager for our region, and a proud member of the APAC Leadership Team. I also lead our Culture and DEI programs—two spaces where my passion for people comes to life. In my first year leading DEI, we achieved something unprecedented: 100% of our team felt safe bringing their whole selves to work. The past three years at Lucid have been personally and professionally transformational. Working closely with the APAC Leadership Team, and especially under the guidance of my manager, I’ve grown into the kind of leader I once looked up to. I’ve learned that vulnerability, when used wisely, is a strength. That authentic leadership is grounded in humility, openness to feedback, and a genuine interest in people’s growth. Having someone believe in me, give me space to make mistakes, and trust me to lead has shaped not only my career, but my confidence and voice. Before Lucid, I gained experience working with everyone from everyday customers to C-suite executives, billionaires, and celebrities. I even ran my own events staffing business. However, one of the roles closest to my heart was with Flourish Girl, where I started as a volunteer and eventually moved into a paid role facilitating mental health programs for teen girls—a reminder that impact starts with care. Whether I’m designing an inclusive workspace, coordinating a multi-city customer trip, or ensuring every voice is heard in a meeting, I always come back to one belief, culture doesn’t happen by accident—it’s created intentionally, by listening deeply, embracing difference, and making space for everyone in the room.
