About Simone Ritzer

As the lead of the Wageningen Dialogues program, I connect researchers with each other and with the world outside Wageningen University & Research. My responsibilities include developing the program on a strategic level and developing and facilitating dialogue-processes among scientists and with society. With the Wageningen Dialogues program we are working towards programming around the world and especially inside Omnia, the newest center on Wageningen Campus where science meets society, opened in May 2022. With continuously setting up new programs, I live by the motto: Start small, explore more & discover the world. Young and enthusiastic as I am, I'm always up for a challenge. I continuously learn by doing. People describe me as spontaneous, optimistic, and sincere. I'm giving and gaining much energy from presenting and moderating, both live and online sessions. And as a creative, people's-person, my power lays in connecting people, organizations and ideas in order to innovate new solutions and to strive for bigger impact.
