About Simone Robinson

As a third-year Master of Landscape Architecture candidate at Morgan State University, I am deeply committed to designing sustainable, inclusive, and resilient landscapes that meet the needs of both communities and the environment. My academic journey has allowed me to explore innovative solutions to urban and ecological challenges, from green infrastructure to public space design. In addition to my studies, I serve as the President of the Morgan Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), where I lead initiatives that promote professional development, collaboration, and community engagement among aspiring landscape architects. My goal is to engage and advocate for more green and interactive natural spaces for low-income urban communities. I am passionate about bridging the gap between the natural and built environments, ensuring that everyone has access to safe, environmentally friendly spaces. I look forward to working with communities to develop projects that enhance their quality of life through thoughtful and sustainable design. My areas of interest include sustainable urban planning, environmental justice, and climate-resilient design. I am always open to connecting with professionals and organizations who share a passion for transforming our built and natural environments.
