About Simone Seliger

Simone has over 4 years of experience as a Case Manager, where she worked with children, youth, and adults affected by severe mental illness, exploitation, incarceration, and trauma. She utilized trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approaches to support their healing and recovery. She is passionate about working with folks through a strengths-based and relational framework. She also advocated for their rights and access to quality care and services in various settings, such as schools, courts, shelters, and hospitals. She is passionate about being an agent of social justice and wellbeing through multidisciplinary and creative community work. She is pursuing a Master of Social Work at UC Berkeley, where she is learning and applying the latest theories and practices in the field. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA, which gives her a unique perspective on the interplay of biology, psychology, and social factors in human behavior and mental health. She is also skilled in psychological research, Microsoft Office, G Suite, clinical documentation, and electronic health records.
