About Simone Soletta

Active in the journalism/content creation/editing field since 1998, I've been involved in the dawn of the Internet era, when I started managing media outlets on the web, with my first professional job as an Editor secured in From that moment I've been involved in different roles (Contributor, Editor, Editor in Chief, Producer, Translator) in several magazines and media outlets, for the newstands and for the web. Working through the I witnessed and quickly adapted to the fast changes the media industry faced, developing the skills that were needed to respond to the audience's growing expectations in any different period of time: writing/editing was soon accompanied by photography, video editing, and in the last years social media management and video streaming as well. In my position as Producer and Editor I was in charge of every editorial and managerial aspects of the companies and media outlets I was asked to oversee, and I had the absolute joy to work with hundreds of people: I surely learned from the most experienced professionals I had the honor to work with, and I hope I was able to pass along the knowledge and experience to the many contributors that crossed my path. In 2022 I left the media industry to open a new chapter in my working career. I joined Infront Sports & Media and I've been involved in different projects, covering the roles of archivist and production coordinator. I've contributed with Videogames Party in editing some of the interviews published on VGPPlay, the dedicated platform of the company.
