About Simone van Klaveren

Passionate about social enterprise and the impact economy, I strongly believe there is a role and opportunity for businesses to try and make a contribution for the better. I enjoy helping values-driven organisations committed to making a positive impact – while advocating both business and making social impact can (/should) go hand in hand. Making a change from the corporate to the social enterprise sector, I now use my experience in international business development as well as my commercial and organisational skills as a force for good. Currently working at the Impact Institute, I am responsible for the development and management of strategic international multistakeholder partnerships within different sectors, building coalitions and contributing to a movement towards impact measurement, valuation, and True Price. Previously, I worked in London for over five years, first for a global company that provides communications, language and technology services to international clients, then at the Pioneers Post – the leading international social enterprise and impact investment magazine. Before that, I started my career at a media agency in the Netherlands. I hold a university background in Communications and a Masters degree in Intercultural Communications from Utrecht University.
