About Simone Vinkel
I'm a tech nerd with interests and competences in audio/video productions, programming, and game and virtual reality (VR) development. I hold a master's degree in Sound and Music Computing from Aalborg University Copenhagen, Denmark. Through the past couple of years I've focused on exploring and investigating various usages of 3D sound reproduction for 360 videos in VR, specifically in the context of virtual concert and music experiences. I've also developed an interest for event coordination, and have been a part of organizing and arranging several gamer-related events (GEEKcore, GoodGame CPH, N-club LIVE, Nordic Game Jam). In 2018 I founded and opened a gaming café with a friend in Copenhagen hosting several game-related events. Alongside studying I also worked voluntarily as a light and sound technician at two venues in Copenhagen where I strengthened technical, creative and communactive skills.
