About Simone Vizzuso

I’m an AI Engineer & Full‑Stack Developer with an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bologna. My master’s thesis focused on path extraction and graph analysis, involving synthetic data generation, probability modeling, and convexe optimization using Python. I’ve developed full LLM-based solutions: conversational chatbots, “in-the-loop” orchestrators, and extractors, each with Angular front-ends. I’ve managed everything from prompt design and fine-tuning with LangChain, to Azure deployment, integration into FastAPI microservices containerized via Docker, and writing pytest suites for stable releases. Previously, I supported WMF 2023 (an event on emerging technologies) by evaluating AI content, coordinating the speaker program, and beta-testing conference platforms. I’m passionate about translating research into real-world AI products, and in my free time I produce AI educational content on YouTube and run Dungeons & Dragons as a DM. I’m open to roles in GenAI/ML where I can build, test, and deliver impactful AI systems end-to-end.
