About Simone Wessels-Bloom

I’m passionate about making content and learning engaging, accessible, and relevant. As a writer and instructional designer, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with individuals and organizations across a variety of industries and countries to create impactful marketing and learning material. From large multinational companies in the financial sector to small and medium-sized businesses in the HR and medical industries, non-profits, and charities, my experience spans a broad spectrum (and spans two centuries). I’ve helped to develop learning games, designed digital learning programs, and scripted expert-led and animated videos. I work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the content I create is accurate, high-quality, and tailored to meet the client’s needs—earning trust and repeat projects along the way. Writing and education have always been my two core passions. With years of experience, I began as a high-school English teacher, followed by my roles as a copy editor and food editor for a magazine and later served as an online content creator. I’ve supported startups and solopreneurs by crafting marketing and learning content, including blog posts, newsletters, and video scripts, all designed to inspire action and deliver results.
