More than 20 years of experience in the humanitarian and development fields, in crisis and post-crisis situations, with increasing levels of responsibilities in the fields of management, planning, analysis, conflict analysis and resolution, partnership development, negotiation, resources mobilization, and evaluation. • Ability to analyse, assess and address complex conflict and post-conflict contexts and to combine analysis with programmatic work. Ability to provide sound advice on a wide range of conflict prevention, recovery and development issues as well as on political situations. • Relevant background in programme management. Gained experience in conflict prevention and transformation, Governance, Reintegration of former-combatants, refugees and IDPs; Citizen Security and SALW control; Local economic development; Women empowerment; Environment; Community and Indigenous Organisations; Micro-Credit; Education and Health. • Relevant experience in leading inter-agency, donors, and government coordination efforts, including in complex fields, such as DDR, SSR, and post-war recovery. • Knowledge of the working mechanisms of UN agencies, Donors, and NGOs. • Acquired research and evaluation skills by combining field experience with a MA degree in Post-war recovery studies. • Acquired training and facilitation skills. Carried out several workshops, training courses and other capacity building efforts- Countries of experience: Sierra Leone, Myanmar, Ecuador, The United Republic of Tanzania, South Sudan, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Jordan, Palestine (West Bank), Argentina, Macedonia (FYROM), Cuba, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Italy.
