Greetings! I'm Simoni Laguna, a dedicated professional deeply immersed in the world of education within Fresno Unified School District and Fresno State. My journey revolves around empowering at-risk youth, advancing cultural competence, and spearheading economic empowerment—especially for first-generation students venturing into higher education. In my current role as an educator, I've had the privilege of guiding and inspiring students within Fresno Unified. My commitment extends beyond the classroom, where I actively contribute to fostering cultural competence and creating an environment that encourages economic empowerment for all. Simultaneously, I'm immersed in an intellectually stimulating Master's program within Fresno State's HEAL initiative.
