I spent many years working at Pearson Airport after immigrating to Canada back in 2002. Starting as a cashier for porter service, I kept learning new skills and worked my way up to managing a team of technicians for the baggage system. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, the airline industry was hit hard, with myself and many of my colleagues getting laid off. Briefly disheartened, I quickly saw this as an opportunity for further education. Networking with government workers, I secured grants and began to study Computer Programming at Sheridan. After completing my degree, I've continued building my skills while working for Air Canada, and am ready to put the skills I've been learning over the last few years to proper use.
