As a fourth-year Honours BA student in Psychology, I am passionately working towards a career in the mental health field. My dedication to mental health stems from a profound belief in the power of compassionate listening and understanding.My academic background, including coursework in Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Atypical Development, Neuroscience, Developmental psychology and Statistics, has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of psychological theories and research methodologies. This knowledge base is essential in my pursuit to help individuals navigate their personal challenges and achieve emotional well-being.In my role as a research assistant, I have developed a strong foundation in research skills, allowing me to contribute meaningfully to the field of psychology. This role has honed my ability to analyze data, conduct studies, and contribute to the advancement of psychological research. Additionally, my work as a crisis responder has provided me with valuable experience in addressing and supporting individuals during moments of acute distress. This role has reinforced my ability to listen empathetically, offer comfort, and guide individuals through their crises with sensitivity and care.I am driven by a passion for being a source of support and a trusted confidant for those in need.
