Simran Arora is a public relations and corporate communications expert with extensive experience as a trusted advisor for some of Canada’s most esteemed private and public companies. In her current role at NATIONAL, Simran spearheads media relations and corporate communications for high-profile organizations such as Breakfast Club of Canada, Simons, TELUS Pollinator Fund, Richardson Wealth, Organigram, Pfizer, and Ford. Her strategic approach to distilling complex business information into engaging stories has resulted in nationwide coverage and strengthened stakeholder relationships. Previously, at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, she developed award-winning campaigns that strategically positioned executives in front of the right audiences at the right time and right place, enhancing corporate visibility and reputation. She also has a robust social, digital, and influencer marketing background, as evidenced by her work with financial clients like Interac, Pure Industrial, and Blackstone and consumer brands such as adidas, OLG and Nespresso.Furthermore, Simran uses her communications skills to drive social change, supporting not-for-profits like Jumpstart Refugee Talent, the 519, The BlackNorth Initiative, and East Preston Empowerment Academy.Simran holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in English Literature and dual postgraduate qualifications in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, and Social Media Marketing from Seneca College. In the winter of 2024, she returned to her alma mater as an Assistant Professor, equipping the new crop of communicators with corporate communications skills and industry insights.
