About Simran Baidwan

I am a current sophomore majoring in Informatics and minoring in Law and Public Policy at Indiana University. Although raised in Kansas, I pursued this out-of-state experience to foster new relationships and gain the most from my academic pursuits. I hope to attend law school after graduating college and then eventually become a lawyer in the west coast. I have always enjoyed meeting new people and learning from different perspectives to solve problems differently and creatively. Furthermore, I have a passion for the business and legal world and hope to hone these skills for a future in this field. I believe my involvement from my time in high school on the Student Council and as a student mentor to my peers has allowed me to become a versatile professional. I continue these impactful efforts in my college community as a Congress member of the Indiana University Student Government, brother of Delta Sigma Pi, and as Vice President of the Legal Studies Club. Outside of professional endeavors, my personal interests lie in growing my music collection, working out, reading great novels, and thrifting clothes. However, some topics I could talk about forever are How I Met Your Mother, positive psychology, and themed events.
