About Simran Bhandal

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fresno. Currently, I am employed at WellSpace Health, where I serve as a Care Team RN. My expertise lies in therapeutic communication, patient advocacy, patient education, and critical thinking. Previously, I gained valuable experience as a registered nurse at ProMedica ManorCare. In this role, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and monitor patients with diverse conditions and needs. Additionally, I provided education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding their diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, and disease management. My passion lies in delivering compassionate and holistic care to individuals from various backgrounds. I prioritize teamwork, effective communication, and continuous learning. I am proud to bring a bilingual and bicultural perspective to my work, as I am fluent in both Punjabi and English. Furthermore, I have experience working with Latino communities, having served as a research intern at UCSF Latino Center for Research and Education and as a certified nursing assistant at Horizon Health & Subacute Center in the Central Valley.
