About Simran Chugh

I work at Indiahikes as an Experience Coordinator. Super passionate about fitness, dance, trekking and communicating how this can have a positive impact on a person's life. At Indiahikes, I help trekkers build the right mindset about what to expect in the outdoors, how to trek sustainably, helping them prepare physically in terms of fitness, the right gear to pack and how the outdoors can transform lives. Started off as a Yoga instructor as soon as I graduated. First worked with Cult.fit and transitioned to working on holistic yoga approaches with a growing studio called Yogatute. During this time, I freelanced with multiple age groups varying from 4 year old kids to senior citizens and many women home-makers. My inclination towards fitness started as a child when I danced away in my room most of the time. But, during covid as I started to explore a lot of home workouts, joined a running club and realised how fitness impacts my body and at a deeper level my mind as well. Lastly, I am curious about the human mind and how mindfulness can foster a holistic view in a person’s life. This interest lead me to get a certification on Wellness coaching with EASE Academy.
