About Simran Goel

As a Learning Services Assistant at Humber College, I support students and faculty with their academic needs and inquiries, using my skills in customer service, communication, and problem-solving. I am motivated to achieve all tasks with innovation and excellence, and to work with an organization that provides me the opportunity to improve my skills and knowledge and to grow along with the organization objectives. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Research Analyst from Humber College, where I gained expertise in data analysis and research design, using tools such as Tableau, COGNOS, and OCAS. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from the same institution, where I learned about strategic human resource planning, employee relations, and compensation. I have applied my knowledge and skills in various research projects, such as conducting qualitative and quantitative scans, surveys, and focus groups, and performing labor market and gap analysis, for the Program Planning Development and Renewal department at Humber College. I have also contributed to the Human Resources Management research team as a Research Assistant, where I assisted with literature reviews, data collection, and report writing.
