About Simran Mangat

A devoted learner across multiple functional areas of pharmacy and industry. My experience ranges from retail pharmacy to hospital pharmacy to medical market and research. My goals are to enter the pharmaceutical industry, help transform healthcare, promote public health and always remember to put the patient first. Some highlights of my experiences include: Academics - A 2024 PharmD candidate of Temple University School of Pharmacy - Indiana University of Pennsylvania Graduate with a Bachelors in Natural Science Leadership -Ability to interpret information and relay it to my peers in a group or personal setting - Provide mentorship to upcoming students/peers and give strategies for success -Coordinate events and fundraisers across interprofessional networks Clinical Experience -In-patient pharmacy intern exposed to all areas of clinical pharmacy within a hospital (Burn Trauma, ICU, Neonatal ICU, surgical and psychiatric critical care areas)-Pulmonary medicine Extern that specialized in disease states including but not limited to asthma, COPD and Pulmonary Hypertension Patient Advocacy (5 years experience)- Facilitate patient/caregiver recruitment at conferences, fundraisers and symposiums -Liase between patients/caregivers and researchers to develop better products goods and services
