About Simran Maredia

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in Architecture and am entering my senior year of my undergraduate career at UTSA. Upon graduation in May of 2022, I plan on attending a graduate school to obtain my Masters in Architecture. Over the past few years I have gained experience through multiple job shadow opportunities as well as through my involvement in extra curricular activities. I have participated in many community projects such as Rehabarama (rebuilding the Historic District of San Antonio) and the AIA San Antonio Homes Tour and I will be serving as the Vice President of the NOMAS chapter at UTSA for the school year 2021-2022. I am currently working alongside the American Society of Civil Engineers and International Interior Design Association chapters at UTSA to design and develop tiny homes for homeless veterans. All these experiences have taught me how to work in a fast paced and demanding environment, collaborate efficiently in groups, solve real world issues, and continue to grow my existing skill set. I am actively looking for an internship where I can continue to grow and garner more real world experience.
