About Simran Panchal

I began my career in food as a freshman in high school – from the president of the cooking club to joining my first food startup in college, it was love at first byte. Now having worked 10+ years exclusively at food startups from early to growth stage, I've worn the operator hat, led cross-functional teams, and built bespoke food brands for clients and partners. At Swiggy - the largest food delivery app on the planet, I crafted virtual food restaurants and led a team of category managers and R&D Chefs to deliver delightful data-driven restaurants. I invited various CPG makers across the country to trial their products on our menus and delight customers across the country. Prior to building + scaling cloud kitchens, I built communities around food products and services. I was the Head of Chef Community at Kitchensurfing.com (employee #2 to Series B), an online marketplace to book meals with chefs. At KS I conceptualized and led our Test Kitchen Onboarding Program. I am the recipient of the esteemed Posse Scholarship for Merit Leadership.
