Background
About Simran Sandhra
As a passionate advocate for women in sports, I use my creativity and leadership to bring people together through social media, photography, and meaningful engagement. Using digital media, I’ve shared my journey in the sports industry, empowering women through storytelling and behind-the-scenes insights. Across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, I've gained over 194.1K combined likes, reflecting my dedication to growing my personal brand. As a content creator, I'm deeply committed to showcasing my career journey and using these platforms to connect with others. I bring energy and passion to my work through impactful experiences in sports. As part of the digital team for the Summer Paris 2024 Olympics with the Canadian Olympic Committee, I helped unite Canadians across digital platforms. I also served as an ambassador for the 2024 NHL All-Star in Toronto, fostering a positive environment for fans, and as an accredited media member for the PWHL, I continue to leverage social media to empower women’s hockey. Additionally, as a social media manager for Sports Girls Club, I helped grow the community to over 100K followers in under two years. My goal is to highlight the incredible impact of women in sports while inspiring the next generation of women to pursue careers in the industry. In the sports industry, I would like to continue to gain diverse experience which will lead me to a career as a sports social media manager and content creator. What excites me most about sports is their ability to unite people, regardless of the highs and lows. Whether it's a win or a loss, the sense of community that sports create is lasting and powerful.
