About Simran Subhedar

I am a believer in achieving the impossible through dedication, disciple and smart work. Currently a BMM student majoring in Advertising, I have grown up never wanting to restrict my knowledge to the books and classrooms. Since childhood I had vivid interests and a hunger to explore & excel in all. While exploring gave me a sense of creativity and innovation, the hunger to excel taught me to accept challenges, have perspectives, be optimistic, work in teams, manage teams, work hard but smart at the same time. Right from being a ranker in school to having real life experiences today, I am confident about all the skills I possess. Writing content, creating content, orating skills, communication, management, observation, editing, etc. being some of them. Today at the age of 20, I am the founder of One Step In (YouTube channel) and handle everything from creating content to marketing it. I have also interned in a Financial Planning firm where I learnt about Mutual funds and selling insurance, created and managed their social media handles and created their website content. Along with skills I have also worked towards my passion – Dance. I represented India in the 2016 and 2019 International Folk Fest in Spain. The tour also gave me an opportunity to travel various other countries to explore their culture and build relations. It also taught me to be disciplined and independent at young age. My main aim from life is to learn beyond from what is taught through observation and exceed my own expectations. Creativity and dedication being my strengths, I am looking forward for an opportunity that allows me to utilize all my skills and prove to be an asset to the firm I join.
