As a Mathematics graduate from the University of Windsor, I have a strong foundation in quantitative analysis, data science, and statistics. I am passionate about applying my mathematical skills to identify and manage risks in the insurance industry, and I am actively pursuing actuarial certification to further enhance my knowledge and expertise. I recently completed a one-year actuarial internship at Canada Life, where I collaborated with cross-functional teams to support various aspects of financial management, risk assessment, and process improvement. I leveraged data analysis and modeling techniques to evaluate the profitability and sustainability of insurance products, and I contributed to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies. I also demonstrated my leadership and communication skills as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Windsor, where I tutored and mentored students in mathematics and statistics, and coordinated several transition events for incoming undergraduate students.
