About Simranjit Singh

I’m a technical professional who believes that even the most complex systems should be built with empathy and common sense. My background is in Information Technology, but my real interest lies where technology meets community - making things run better for the people using them.I’ve spent the last 4 years at Hive Helsinki balancing two worlds: the quiet maintenance of a 180-machine fleet and the high-energy coordination of month-long coding bootcamps for 100s of participants. I’m the person who enjoys trying to automate a tedious task with a Python script just as much as I enjoy moderating a Q&A or helping support a blocked student.I value (and try to improve on) autonomy, clear documentation, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Beyond the screen, I’m a lifelong learner with a love for photography and writing. What I do best:Technical Operations: Linux (Ubuntu/macOS), Ansible, Python automation.Operational Logistics: Large-scale event coordination, student support, stakeholder management.Communication: Fluent in 4 languages, technical enablement, public speaking.
