I am working as a Proposal Coordinator at Ledcor which is a leading company that specializes in buildings, properties, communications, heavy civil and mining, infrastructure, pipeline, oil and gas, petrochemical, power, marine, aviation, and forestry. I am accountable for key administrative tasks associated with writing compelling, accurate and well-organized proposals and related business documentation. I ensure that content is comprehensive, consistent and thorough, adhering to the highest professional writing standards, company practices, and customer requirements. I am a highly ambitious individual with big goals to transform, contribute and innovate new ideas, while enhancing existing ones. I am someone who is passionate, dependable, honest and self-motivated and always motivating others. Many value my strong communication skills - both written and verbal, my ability to use PowerPoint to create presentations, my aptitude to write creative blogs, my capacity to successfully plan and lead events while working with others, and my willingness to learn from new opportunities. I have worked at Allteck as a Proposal and Marketing Coordinator, PCL Construction as an Administrative Assistant under the Communications department where I gained experience in digital media, and Canfor as a Communications Student which had allowed me to create social media posts, to take the lead in writing, planning and curating internal and external articles, while crafting newsletters that were distributed amongst employees using Mailchimp. Being a published academic scholar has allowed me to amplify my exceptional research and interviewing skills through conducting a report with the British Columbia Federation of Labour (BC Fed) and Simon Fraser University Community-Engaged Research Initiative (CERi). This report describes the labour conditions, self-perceptions, and attitudes toward collective organizing and unionization among food delivery platform workers within the Metro Vancouver Regional District. I also have experience in creating professional communication plans through writing a consultant's report that I had co-created for the Instagram campaign "When Beauty Is The Beast." This compendium incorporates a rationale, campaign objectives, media design and production, a description of the target audience, a short-term and long-term communication plan, key resources, recommendations and obstacles.
