About Sindhu Krishna

As Head of Sustainable Investment at Phoenix Group, I ensure that the company is a strong voice for sustainable investment/ ESG considerations in the market. I play a critical role in working with the board/ExCom, and product/investment teams to create investment strategies, drive portfolio innovation, create customer value, and manage strategic partnerships with global asset management firms, think tanks, investor bodies & environmental trade bodies as well as directing regulatory & stewardship matters for the Group. With over 15 years of experience, I have deep knowledge of the ESG landscape, including climate change/risk, nature & biodiversity, net zero, decarbonisation, carbon markets and innovative concepts. I leverage this and strong stakeholder management skills to shape/execute Responsible / Sustainable Investment strategies, integrating ESG factors & capabilities across a wide range of asset classes, optimising customer processes, data analysis, and collaborating with asset managers on risks & opportunities across diverse portfolios. Recipient of the Chairman's Award for exhibiting Phoenix Values; internal/external recognition as a Thought Leader on Sustainable Investment, ESG landscape knowledge & best practice sharing, and adding value on many industry panels.
